Rick Stein Coves of Cornwall Set of 2 Mugs - Readymoney Cove

This beautiful ceramic design, inspired by the land and seascape of Cornish coves, was the winning entry in a competition Rick Stein launched to final year design students at Falmouth University, Cornwall.

Coves from north Cornwall have been hand-painted in watercolour showing the depth and colour variations in the sea. The clean design and form of bone china complements the subtly changing shades of each cove resulting in a unique and highly collectible range of coastal tableware.

Rick's memory of Readymoney Cove - "Apart from the fact that Daphne DuMaurier lived in a house on the cove in the '40's, it's the most serene beach for a swim, there's something very relaxing being calm in the water as ships pass by going out to sea or up the Fowey river. "

These mugs have a diameter of 8.5cm. They are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe to 200 degrees.
