Rick Stein Coves of Cornwall Set of 2 Mugs - Prussia Cove
This beautiful ceramic design, inspired by the land and seascape of Cornish coves, was the winning entry in a competition Rick Stein launched to final year design students at Falmouth University, Cornwall.
Coves from north Cornwall have been hand-painted in watercolour showing the depth and colour variations in the sea. The clean design and form of bone china complements the subtly changing shades of each cove resulting in a unique and highly collectible range of coastal tableware.
Rick's memory of Prussia Cove - "The most enigmatic of Cornish cove names strongly associated with smuggling and latterly with a fabulous music festival held at Porth-en-Alls House on the cliffs of the cove. There's a great circular walk around the cove."
These mugs have a diameter of 8.5cm. They are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe to 200 degrees.
