This is a perfect example of white Rhone, we got it in for Rick's series in France featuring in the daube recipe he describes below. We have four cases of it remaining and it is just tasting amazing but unfortunately isn't in my thoughts for our new wine list.
I drank this with a Rhône bargee’s daube made from the same white wine. A white wine beef stew didn’t work for me
but the glasses that accompanied it certainly did. It has a marvelous weighty unctuousness about it and dare I say hints of
peach and apricot. - Rick
